# Score methodology: a ranking with zero black box

The Score is a public score out of 100, recomputed every night with the same fixed weighting for every clinic. Reviews only count with proof of appointment. No position can be bought.

## Signals

Each signal is scored out of 100, then weighted. The sum gives the Score shown on profiles, rankings and the comparator.

### Verified patient reviews: 45%

Average rating weighted by volume and freshness. A 2026 review weighs more than a 2023 one. The 4 sub-ratings (quality of care, waiting times, listening and explanations, rate transparency) count equally.

### Profile completeness and transparency: 25%

Every filled field earns points: services, rates, practitioners, languages, practical information. Update freshness counts too. A dormant profile mechanically drops.

### Documented team and accreditations: 20%

Practitioners listed with their specialties, plus accreditations and certifications (HAS, ISO 9001, JCI, ISO 15189) backed by proof. Equipment, programs and publications count too. Never any patient case.

### Responsiveness and badges: 10%

Share of appointment requests answered, and how fast. Each badge has public criteria. The website badge (embed the Clinicrated badge on your site, linked to your profile) is worth up to +5 points: +2 on detection, then +1 at 1, 3 and 6 months of continuous presence. It helps patients find your verified profile. Checked nightly: badge removed = points removed immediately.

## How a review gets verified

No review publishes itself. Every submission goes through three checks before appearing on a profile.

1. Proof of appointment: Invoice, appointment notice or report with no medical data. The document stays private, only the "verified appointment" mention is public.
2. Human moderation: The Clinicrated team checks the proof and the text within 72h. It can ask for more details, and removes any health data.
3. Right of reply: The clinic can reply publicly to every review. It can report an abuse, never delete a verified review.

## What never moves the score

- Paying Clinicrated. There is no paid offer that touches the ranking.
- The volume of appointment requests sent or received through the platform.
- Reviews without proof of appointment. They simply never get published.
- Seniority on Clinicrated. A clinic that signed up yesterday can overtake one from 2024.

### How often does the score change?

Every night. A new review, a published achievement or an updated profile shows up the next morning.

### Why did my score drop without any action on my side?

Freshness matters. A profile without updates for 6 months loses points on completeness.

### Can rank #1 be sponsored?

No. There is no paid placement on Clinicrated, and there never will be.

### How do I dispute a review?

From your dashboard, "Report" button. Moderation re-examines the proof within 72h.
